Proverbs are the flowers of our language, they color our language like colorful flowers do to a field. They express centuries-old wisdom and eternal truths. By using them, we enliven our style and express our message vividly. To do this, we need to know them well and be aware of their meaning. Our interlocutor may smile if we do not use the right proverb or if we mix up parts of two proverbs. The authors have put together the workbook so that students' knowledge of proverbs can be expanded by solving the tasks.
